Tracy Weatherby joined Second Harvest of Silicon Valley in 2018 as VP of Strategy and Advocacy. In this role, Tracy helps coordinate strategy across the food bank and her team works to leverage government programs to ensure that students in need have access to school and summer meals. The department also advocates for policies to reduce hunger.
Margaret Nyamumbo will tell us about her company, Kahawa 1893, which works directly with farmers, empowers women, and commits to transparency, with the goal of sharing the wealth.

Since I've not always had the best experiences in a book club, I thought I would design one that I would want to participate in. I could read the book I wanted. Everyone talking would have read the book they have an opinion about, and I’d get some great recommendations in a variety of book genres and authors.
Danielle Cohen is a charter member of the 100 Women Charitable Foundation which was founded in 2006 by a small group of friends. Their objective was to get 100 women to donate $100 that would be given out as grants to local nonprofits supporting under-served populations in the areas of education, family, and health & wellness.
We are women over 55. We will be seen for who we are. We are dynamic, involved, contributing, powerful, desirable, and vital. We will be included in the highest levels of decision making, planning, forecasting. We will be revered as indispensable matriarchs of our families.
Margaret Abe-Koga led the City of Mountain View (California) as mayor through the many challenges of 2020. But it was not her first time leading in a crisis. She was appointed mayor by her fellow city council members in 2009, during the Great Recession. Margaret will come talk to us about leadership in the face of national and global disasters.
