Women’s Initiations – Ancient Practices for Modern Women

April 24, 2014 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am PDT

In times past, it was normal for women to be initiated to awaken their innate powers of body, heart, mind and spirit. In our modern Western world much of the knowledge of women’s initiations has been lost. Megan Wagner, PhD, has traveled the world studying women’s rites of passage, why they were lost and what today women can still apply from those ancient practices.

Her studies have unearthed 5 primary feminine archetypes that guide our lives as women and are part of an ancient feminine lineage that every woman is linked to through her cellular memory. She will explore with us these 5 ancient feminine archetypes of the Wise Woman, Warrioress, Queen, Visionary and Manifestor and explain how they empower us to show up in the world with confidence, strength, compassion and creative vision. Which archetype are you? Megan will help us find out by allowing us to try on the one-of-a-kind hand-painted silk robes she has created to represent each of these archetypes. She is a dynamic speaker, who promises a stimulating and interactive presentation.

Megan Wagner, PhD, is a Therapist, Group Facilitator and Director of Tree of Life International, where she offers training in personal mastery and women’s empowerment. She is a Stanford graduate and passionate world traveler, leading groups on sacred journeys around the world.
