DESCRIPTION:An Action Plan for Successful Aging provides expert advice to help families start critical conversations about the future and put their wishes and desires into action. This plan includes conversation tips and considerations for a wide variety of circumstances such as living alone\, blended families\, having dementia and religious preferences. \nMichelle Rogers (owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Mountain View) is passionate about having these difficult conversations about these difficult topics before you need them. She will share a few different things to do with aging and care in the home.  \nMichelle grew up in the Bay Area and has more than 30 years experience as a business and community leader. She had a successful 26-year career in marketing and sales within the technology sector. Michelle then acquired the South Peninsula Home Instead Senior Care franchise\, founded in 1997\, five years ago after deciding she wanted to be involved in providing services that would support people in the community. Her CAREGivers provide non-medical\, in-home services to seniors in Cupertino\, Sunnyvale\, Mountain View\, Palo Alto\, East Palo Alto\, Los Altos\, Menlo Park\, Atherton\, Portola Valley\, Woodside\, Redwood City\, San Carlos\, and Belmont\, Calif. Michelle feels honored to witness firsthand how Home Instead Senior Care services impact elders in a positive manner.
