DESCRIPTION:Professor Ridolfi was a part of the first group of lawyers and social scientists to develop the expertise of jury consulting. In 1976\, she joined the National Jury Project and opened their Northeast Regional Office where she was co-director. In 1978\, she became a national trial consultant for the Women’s Self-Defense Law project\, a project of the National Jury Project and Center for Constitutional Rights in York City. In 1982\, she joined the Defender Association of Philadelphia where she was a trial lawyer until her appointment on the faculty of CUNY Law School in 1989. \nShe was also a coordinator of the Feminist Trial Advocacy Seminar\, a program of the National Association of Women and the Law. Professor Ridolfi has been at SCU School of Law since 1991. \nProfessor Ridolfi is the Executive Director of the Northern California Innocence Project\, a law school clinical course in which students work with attorneys and other professionals to investigate claims of wrongful conviction and seek post-conviction relief where appropriate. \nProfessor Ridolfi’s areas of specialty include criminal law\, criminal procedure\, post-conviction procedure\, evidence\, trial advocacy\, jury selection\, battered women\, clemency and clinical teaching. \nIn 1976 Professor Ridolfi became director of the Northeast Regional Office of the National Jury Project\, counseling attorneys in all aspects of jury selection.
