Since joining MidPen in 2009\, she has overseen the construction of more than 3\,200 affordable homes and as Chief Real Estate Development Officer\, leads MidPen‘s 40+ member development team who’s currently stewarding a pipeline of more than 25 development projects that will produce an additional 3\,000 homes. \nRecognized by the San Francisco Business Times in 2017 as one of the Most Influential Women in Bay Area Real Estate\, Jan’s expertise in housing and community development is widely sought. She currently sits on the boards of the California Coalition for Rural Housing\, SV@Home and Build it Green. Prior to Mid-Pen\, Jan held executive posts at South County Housing and the Santa Clara County Housing Authority.
