SUMMARY:Social Pop-up: Deepening Friendships\, Continuing the Conversation
DESCRIPTION:This pop-up is an ongoing opportunity inspired by Shasta Nelson’s wonderful presentation on friendship at November’s TMD meeting. Using her book Frientimacy as a resource\, we are continuing our conversations about cherished\, supportive friendships in our lives.\n \n\nSeveral TMD members have relocated to new areas and are looking for new friends\, while others of us continue to live in the same area and see our friends drift or move away. We will expand our conversation around Shasta’s Friendship Triangle: Positivity\, Connectivity\, and Vulnerability. How can we continue to broaden our circle of friends and deepen the friendships we have? What other concerns or ideas might we have about friendships? \nIf you have not attended the first two sessions\, you are still very welcome to join our conversation. Familiarity with Shasta Nelson’s book is helpful but not required.
