SUMMARY:Dr. Iris Berke\, Principal\, Branham High School\, San Jose
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Berke shared her experiences in creating and implementing the educational vision for a new school in an old facility. Branham High School originally opened in September\, 1967. Due to declining enrollment and budget constraints\, Campbell Union High School District closed the school in 1990. The site was leased to Valley Christian School\, which operated a Middle and High School. Campbell Union High School reopened Branham High School in August\, 1999.
