DESCRIPTION:Dale Lohman\, Deputy District Attorney in San Jose\, will give us an overview about the Office of the District Attorney and then present a “Top Ten List: Debunking Myths about the D.A.’s Office and Criminal Prosecution.” \nDale attended Pomona College\, majoring in Spanish\, French\, and Japanese. During college she had the students abroad experience of living in both France and Spain. After college\, she worked in sales and marketing at IBM and Intel; also\, she and her (then) husband had a corporation exporting electronics worldwide. Subsequently\, she attended Santa Clara Law School\, graduating first in her class in 1989. After practicing civil litigation with Pillsbury\, Madison & Sutro\, she joined the D.A.’s office in 1990. She has tried more than eighty jury trials and is currently assigned to Major Fraud cases in the Economic Crimes Unit.
