DESCRIPTION:Ann is currently writing a novel entitled “The Dive from Clausen’s Pier\,” scheduled to be published by Knopf in April 2002. Ann was born and raised in Stanford\, California\, and attended Palo Alto public schools until college. A graduate of Yale University and the Iowa Writer’s Workshop\, she has been published by “The New Yorker”\, “Ploughshares”\, and other magazines\, and her work is represented in “Prize Stories 1992: The O. Henry Awards”. She lives in San Carlos with her husband and two children\, and has taught fiction writing locally for the past five years.
