Join us for a special presentation with photographer Carol Shoaff, who will share a curated selection of photographs—and, more importantly, the stories behind them. From portraits to candid moments and scenes in motion, Carol will take us beyond the image to reveal the people, choices, chance encounters, and experiences that shaped each photograph.

This is a presentation about observation, connection, and what it truly means to see. The program will include time for questions and conversation, giving us the opportunity to explore both the art and the human stories behind the lens.

Carol Shoaff is a professional photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Greater Sacramento Area. She shifted into photography after a career in sales, real estate, and wine—including becoming a Certified Sommelier—and pursued her lifelong dream by graduating from the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in 2014. She specializes in portraits, events, and sports photography and has work published in outlets like The Wall Street Journal and San Jose Mercury News, with clients ranging from Yelp! to Filoli and Stanford Continuing Education.
